The twin rotor venturi turbine charges 12 volt batteries. I have recently re-located the turbine on top of a 30' tower beside a storage shed within City limits that had no grid power. I also added a solar panel to help with parasitic loss from the 1750 watt inverter that powers the motion sensor lighting within the shed. The large inverter can also run power tools if required.
The turbine demonstrates the ability to supply green energy in an urban enviroment. There is very little noise from the machine and it is virtualy transparent unless you know it is there.

  • awsm, innovative and brilliant idea!! keep it up dude! environment needs you!!

  • @MrMohdrehankhan

Thank you. We will be installing the TRV4 aeration turbine as soon as the tower is completed.

  • The cost of material was about $150.00. Magnets, resin, magnet wire, the galvanized tube for the rotors. The rest of the machine was scrap material and my time.

The turbine reaches 14.6 open volts at 4.3 m/s. This equals 12.7 volts when connected to the battery and charging begins. (Depending on the state of charge of the battery)

  • Yep... When you can get one of those to power a manufacturing company that makes wind turbines, let me know.

  • I agree with your comment and I know how you feel. That is why I will never make the statement "Free Energy". To process to manufacture products takes energy. The process to feed people who manufature products takes energy. The list is infinit. We simply take energy and change its state. The more cost efficient and enviroentally friendly we can do it is what makes the difference.

  • venturi implies a constriction to increase wind speed, i don't see that here.

  • The restriction takes place between the two rotor chambers which are shaped like inverted airfoils. As the wind passes between them the velocity increases and the pressure drops. This is demonstrated with a water monometer in one of my other videos.

  • Oops just read it (12v).

  • If you dont mind me asking, What was the cost of this unit?

And when i say cost i mean the breakdown of components (you bought).

I like this design and am wondering that the blades are made from. And at what windspeed do you start generating enough power to charge up your batteries (12v-24v).

  • Wow, I said that? It must not have been a good day that day and people are getting tired of wading through trolls to get to the feedback they seek. You were being judgmental. You search for the videos you watch. We are displaying them for people of like interest NOT for your approval.. I stand by my opinion, "If you don't like it change the channel.".

I was however rude in my statement. You are not cancer, but in the end you are either part of the solution or an example of the problem.

  • @derman077 , big deal, you built something. but what? you too shy to talk about it? you are the cancer. you don't say anything about the so-called vawt. if you're so proud of what you've done, then say something about it. don't just show a video and think everyone is ooohing and ahhhhing. no sound, no vote. so you are the one who should go back in a hole and learn how to communicate to people, unless you're deaf.

  • @packagewarren I missed the memo where peoples youtube videos were posted for you and only you. Trolling is akin to cancer. You ARE cancer. This video is incredible. The turbine depicted is well built. Leave. Go back to 4chan and stay there.

  • i missed mindreading class in school, called in sick. what are we supposed to get out of this. nothing if you don't explain anything. thumbs down.
