Well, Nick & Bale weren't playing kid versions of Connor so you wouldn't expect them to whine. That's something maturity puts an end to. That said, I don't think Edward did much whining. I think the problem with Nick is that T2 shows Connor has knowledge of weapons and fighting yet acts like a terrified pussy. And I think Bale is an overrated actor who didn't deserve the part of Connor in the first place (he just got it because he was Hollywood's "Golden Boy" at the time).

I disagree. In this movie, he is such a whiny bitch it is so annoying and painful. Even though this is an awesome movie, John Connor's bitching ruins it for me. I prefer Nick Stahl or Christian Bale's John Connor, because, even though those movies are sub-par compared to T2, they at least do not whine like pussies. Just had to tell it like it is.
