@01LisaH Where does it say in the chapter that those women were being disruptive? It doesn't say anything about women except in the two verses I provided. No women are not be "silent" in the context you say. The greek word for speak in that verse is "laleo" which means "to preach".. So your explanation is by default, void.

@01LisaH Harmful opinions? How so? Since his leadership the Church has fallen. For one, why does the Church keep saying black this and black that if we are one blood? Its getting worse. Whites are intimidated by all of that "we are black" garbage. And how about the Churches support of Barack Obama during the elections? He was sitting there slamming on Christians and supporting late term abortions and the Church still endorsed him. P.S. Mans interpretation? Patterson was a man!

It's just sad and scary that you think GOD would make Bishop suffer and die because he watered down church standards and he RIGHTLY divided the scriptures -However God would allow murderers, rapists, child molesters, drug dealers, etc to live guilt free. No disrespect but I don't think you realize how ignorant you are coming off. God is not some black cloud of destruction. He is merciful unlike man.

@Pentecostal19 Again, if you STUDY the ENTIRE Chapter, you will UNDERSTAND that this is dispensational. THOSE women were being disruptive (as the verses before and after (God not being the author of confusion vs 33 and vs. 40 do things decent and in order). Paul told them to ask questions at HOME. Not out of order during service. If women are to be SILENT (Forever) - there should be no singing, testifying, NOTHING- Silence is NO SOUND. Not a PEEP. Understand what your reading.
