It's very difficult to say, which is my favourite song of this amazing band - but I think, "Rambling on" is it.

well well one of my aaaaalltime favs too. It was the B-Side of "Quite rightly so" if I remember correctly, and I liked it more than the A-Side...

It took a moment or two of thoughtand a re-listen, but then Bassige's point came clear.(prev. comm.) As in so much of PH, the song is propelled, and informed melodically by the outstanding drumming of B. J. Wilson.

Interesting that they used the same bolero-like groove in the middle eight that they later used throughout the wonderful "Piggy Pig Pig" from the "Home" album. Absolutely my favourite band, then and now. Their music really stands up.

I agree with all that this song has been
sooo underrated!!!! I love PH...and as the years pass, It saddens me that I will probably never get a chance to see them live.
