Honestly i was expecting a harder battle, i'm using the Excalibur but I battle him one more time using the avenger sword and it did much more damage.

bahamut is strong against holy, so exacilbur with its holy element is less effective than the avenger or rune axe

Actually Bahamut doesn't use megaflare on himself.

Instead he uses it on the entire party only it can't be reflected back since it ignores the reflect status.
