@GhostTX0 ha. yeah fair comment. of course not, and if you've truly committed a crime then you deserve what's coming to you. In the UK what is a crime under common law is very different to what falls under acts of parliament, which are not crimes, and are only given the force of law by consent. In order to charge 'persons' under such 'laws' (legislation) they need a legal entity to attach the offence to. eg Mr John Smith. If you refuse to be addressed or identified as such, you cannot be charged

@arumdevil In the Netherlands it is already considered a crime not having any ID on you

Fight the power! Down with the royals! Anarchy for all...
..Wait.. you all went to starbucks?!

Please never look into the legal profession for a career, do you think that if you refuse details at a police station then it will exonerate you from a crime?
That is possibly the most ridiculous comment I have ever read.

Zombie is very good idea as their fucking brain dead anyway...

Yes! Yes! Yes!
We are all responsible for our actions. All people who have integrity know this. You cannot escape responsibility by "just following orders"
I know many police are human beings but this is about their actions. Good people do bad things. The worst things in history have been carried out by people who were just following orders.
Love to all x

@DavidUKesb How old are you? grow up geezer, it's a fancy dress costume.

the answer to fighting these farcical arrests is in itself quiet simple: do not carry ID and do not give your details when 'arrested'. If they can't Identify you then they cannot arrest you or charge you with any so-called 'crime'.

The lady in the middle mentioned that this arrest will not be on their records... That's not strictly true. It will be held as 'relevant non-conviction information' which is disclosable to potential employers who request an enhanced CRB check. It will also be retained on police and security service databases indefinitely.
I also think it's scandalous that you were arrested on the basis of what some narcissistic megalomaniac 'thought' you 'might' do - you should certainly take legal advice!
-
Wow... arrested you because of what they thought you might do. Do they employ psychics? I thought you had to commit a crime before you could be arrested for it... or has minority report happened for real and I missed the memo?
@MyBeinghuman The thing is that the people who follow the orders from up on high actually do more damage than the order givers because if they actually thought and said "hang on a minute, no we are not going to arrest these people who are acting within their rights." this stuff would not happen. There is no excuse whatsoever for a policeman or woman not to use her intelligence when carrying out orders.

Potential Breach of the Peace.
You were far too graceful, and you don't need to explain your actions, as free men and women then as long as no harm is done to another, you should be free to do whatever you want. The fact that you were arrested at all is quite sickening.
Anyone who thinks we're not in a police state needs a reality check.
