I agree....
However you do realize that allowing someone (we deem as experts) is a bias. We all have our personal biases so it really makes the education issue tricky.

@gsixty Politicians are bad enough, but leaving education to parents is a terrible idea, if you start it young enough, the prejudices and lack of knowledge that many parents have will become ingrained, leave it too late and the kids will rebel, as all kids do to their parents.
Education need as broad a spectrum of teachers as possible for it to work best, parents have their part, but not too large a part, they and politicians need to step back and allow EXPERTS to do their job.

Clearly Republicans don't want to educate the masses properly, they just want to keep them in the dark about the realities of life, then what happens, the curious will get the knowledge they seek from sources that don't know the facts and people who are more likely to abuse the situation.
