Colin's team with Stuart's Forager starts silaging a steep field, uneven and with still soggy ground after some very wet weeks, so not an easy job! Especially as the grass has lots of redshank in it, which grew up instead of under sown Barley
More to come with some stunning views..... Watch this space.

  • to richard123x1 It was a rented field, and had been re-seeded without lime and not a lot of fertiliser, so the crop for silage was mostly redshank. The farmer who rented it did not realise how neglected the field had been. I have no idea what the cows thought of it:)
