Bach - Komm oh tod du schlafes bruder

I've heard this Bach's chorale in german movie called Schlafes bruder (also called Brother of sleep). I guess this is the most saddest film I have ever seen... but devotion of the main character to the music is something I can relate to...

Plot of the movie (if someone's interested):

In the beginning of the 19th century, Johannes Elias Alder is born in a small village in the Austrian mountains. While growing up he is considered strange by the other villagers and discovers his love to music, especially to playing the organ at the local church. After experiencing an "acoustic wonder", his eye color changes and he can hear even the most subtle sounds. Elias falls in platonic love with Elsbeth, the sister of Peter, a neighbor's son, who has loving feelings towards Elias ever since. After Elsbeth marries someone else, Elias (aged 22) decides to end his life by not sleeping anymore.

Hello MasterTraktor. Let's agree that different people like different interpretations. I also like this version a bit better because it feels distinct and (what's more important to me) ... monumental. It's not that your version is lame or something, I like the dynamics there too. But again in my opinion "over-interpretation" can be a problem as well. Especially with Bach.
