  • "Everyone wantsto get on online and get in Cyberworld..." Along with "CD-ROM" & "Information Super-highway", as entirely nineties sayings, lol.

  • Sigh. This is not highlighting the appearance of IBM's website. This is simply talking about the internet applications included with OS/2.

  • The good old days

  • Wow...teh Internets sure was BUTT UGLY back in the day.

  • @nuclearbigdaddy

    no computer chronicles

  • @nbensa I don't about about old linux distribution versions, but modern ones of course use preemptive multitasking

  • beveled images were the shit back in the day lol.

  • "Does Linux do pre-emptive multitasking?"

You said you use Fedora. Can't you answer your own question?

  • Yes, just discovered one this past weekend. Search in Youtube for:

    HAL-PC 1993 OS/2 vs NT Shootout

It includes a demo of Ultmedia for OS/2, which was quite new at the time to allow multiple multimedia files all playing at the same time. Windows could not, and probably still cannot do this.
