Native American halloween look

This was requested by my little cousin, Arica, and so this is what I came up with. I know it would have looked a lot better with the headress that I had last yr. for halloween...but i couldn't find it =/ So I tried to make this look look as authentic as possible =) I hope you all enjoy!

This video was not meant to offend anyone. I am only going to write this once...I did this tutorial because it was requested and I see people dressing up as Ninjas - Japanese, Princess Jasmine - Arabian, Dora the Explorer - Hispanic.or Latino, etc. You get the idea...so I don't understand why it's more offensive to dress like Pocahontas or any other Native American character. It's Halloween, where you dress as something you're not. Please don't take it so personally. BTW I'm part Blackfoot

I myself as a native american would be extremely offended if some one i knew dressed up for halloween pretending to be our people. btw indian is politically incorrect.

@12ilovesky I am Indian from the Chippewa tribe and the Blackfoot tribe. I really think you are being a little ridiculous about this really. It is Halloween people dress up of many different things for this holiday if we really wanted to talking about offending then pretty much everything that people dress up for Halloween could offend someone. If you want to be offended about anything be offended at the fact that you call yourself a Native American that is a name the white man gave our people

The sad part about this is the girl looks like she mite actually have native in her. I'm sure if she was educated on how this is offensive she would not do it. It actually wasn't bad til she put the lines on her face.

@robisgangsta1 if you did, wouldn't bother me. Robert Downy Jr. did in Tropic Thunder and I thought it was hilarious. I had friends dress up this past Halloween opposite their race. She's white and he's black and she put on heavy dark makeup and he painted his face white and put on a blonde wig. they won best costume. it's not that serious
