@macmen007 Yes I agree, self hatred comes in many forms. For a child to be told that they are acting white because that child has the need and hunger to learn is damn near a sin. But lets not forget the other distractions like BET, MTV, video games bad parents etc.
Great approach to educating people. I was once told that if you cant explain a topic to a 10-year old, you really don't know the material....and you explained it so anyone can see the facts. The real problem of education within the Black community is the group dynamics that look down on people who try and learn and pursue education. We (as black people) need to respect ourselves and each other. Education is not just to get a good job....it's food for LIFE!
