A documentary my colleagues and I made as our graduation piece in London, United Kingdom. Might not be of best quality as it was edited using Final Cut Pro 5.1 but tranfered to Quicktime for storage in our computers lol! This was inspired by a friend of ours, who was suffering from BPD..so it pretty much documents her journey in order to educate the public about Borderline Personality Disorder.

  • Thank you for this.

  • Not everyone with borderline personality disorder has commitment/attachment issues, some of the definitive characteristics that this documentary narrates. I am still in a dilemma about the true validity of what now appears as such a commonplace disorder - popular culture of self-reliance/independence, has also blurred people's social values and/or boundaries with the self and others, who is to say it is a mental health condition from that of a socially dysfunctional one?

  • @Whatwhatinmybutt1 yea i agree and im not resentful about it its just kinda frustrating sometimes to know that i suffered with this for so many years and all they could do was diagnose me as bipolar and perscribe me multiple mood stabalizers/antidepressents which did more harm than good and NOT realize that maybe that WASNT my problem. but looking back i know that all i went through happened for a reason and because of it im now healthy and happy and know how to control my bpd

  • The whole concept of psychiatry was developed well before 1900 in Germany to get rid of people complaining. The first use of directed energy weapons can be recognized in psychiatric literature from 1908. You find it in chapter Psychiatrie-->Klinik der Narkolepsie on my homepage. During the NAZI time this concept was given up as Germany just murdered oponents. It was relaunched directly after the war to persecute and silence concentration camp survivors.

  • one word: SUICIDE

  • @bunniesandflowers So maybe you should be glad the diagnoses came later on, it means they took a good look at you before labeling you with something you might not have ;)

  • @bunniesandflowers Most psychiatrists/psychologists are very eager to throw a diagnoses at people and BPD is mis-diagnosed so many times. Just because a young girl likes to have sex with lots of guys and feels like she doensn't fit in doesn't mean she has anything wrong with her. It's a PERSONALITY disorder, meaning you have to look at it from the age of 21 and up, and then a few years in adulthood can proof if you have something serieus as this.

  • 1:53 ooo la laa. I like it. ; )

  • Can I quote a Madonna song? "Borderline, feel like I'm going to lose my mind".
