I went out at 5:30 in the morning at our North Yard waiting anxiously to track a truck down to route that may not even exist anymore. The second truck comes screaming out of the yard, and sure enough it was the CP Python.

I really hope you all enjoy this rare and exclusive truck. It was sure fun and exciting to watch. The most fastest and best sounding CP Python you probably will ever see.

This truck brought back a bunch of memories of when a Rapid Rail would collect on my street. A truck that is nearly identical (minus the chassis and arm). Filming couldn't have been any better. I couldn't pass up this opportunity. There are only 3 trucks that exist in all of phoenix and they all were test purposes. The three still exist and there is only a matter of time before all are history. After they are gone, I believe there is going to be NO MORE CP Pythons in Phoenix!

This truck isn't listed on a 300's route. I'm not sure why.

Filming this truck couldn't have been any better without having an awesome driver like the one I filmed. Just a great overall guy and if he is watching -- THANK YOU!

Anyways, so here it is! Footage starts out at 5:45 A.M. Massive Series! 5 parts all together.

  • Nice, looks like out of Union Hills, they are pretty fast,at 5:30am is our deadline to get them up and rollin,i usually have the operator standing at my bay waiting for me.

  • @eds69z This guy was out of here at 5:35 lol, he was the second truck out. So fast are these trucks, a definite memory. getting up so early for this beast. the operator loves it too. i wish you guys had a bit more variety!

  • Wow this is excellent!! Gets me excited, just seeing what I know is a rare truck in the dark, early in the AM, I'll bet you were real stoked around then haha how far did you have to follow it from the yard to the route?

This truck's about as fast as most Curotto Cans, and that's impressive.

I definitely enjoy seeing early morning ftg like this; I'm making an entire 6-7 min. video of one truck numerous weeks in a row when he came ~6:30am :)

Amazing beginning to the series!!! Absolute fav

  • @Trashman242 I always look forward to your comments, hearing from one who inspired me to make videos. It's very saddening, this truck has less than a year before it's retired. There was another Python like this one which had its arm scrapped and now was sold for 20,000 dollars on the auction website. This is about 4 miles from the house. This truck is absolutly amazing. I plan for future footage of this one, and the mysterious blue one for recycling. Thank you very much! :D

  • Sadly phx moved all of bid 5 in to Bid I and J so the python is somwhere eles i know this from Tim - Lyon

  • @xxxboringxxx100 The CP Python is in bid 5?

  • Wow... IDK how I missed this series!
