The one and only Barney McKenna talking about the music he learned in his childhood and then playing a few tunes on the auld squeeze box, starting with a Bavarian dance tune, the "Haushammer Schuhplattler", then moving on the the original Irish "Cork Hornpipe", which he used to play as a mandolin duet with John Sheahan about twenty years ago.

  • The Hornpipe is "Harvest Home", not the Cork Hornpipe. :-)

  • @niksen123 Apparently it goes under two names, Cork or Harvest Home. The Dubliners recorded it as Cork Hornpipe on two mandolins.
