Lincolnshire Police Nightscan BMW Keeping The Peace

A BMW 4X4 patrolling the area around RAF Waddington to keep the peace whalst we were sitting in a... long, tailback.

About the Nightscan on the roof. It's used in Lincolnshire as we don't have a police chopper so we borrow another force's chopper. But the BMW has a huge floodlight as a replacement, for when the chopper is busy, which can light up an entire area just like a police helicopter can. It is used by the Roads Policing Unit for lighting up scenes of accidents, searching for missing persons and also for highlighting a certain area.
