I would not vote for Sarah but I can see why she would give a speech like that, because people were already blaming the right for what happened to Gifford. instead of seeing it for what it was, a psycho who was more liberal than anything, who became obsessed with Gifford. It was the left who tried to make it into a political tool, and Sarah responded to that claim. She isn't the brightest in the room but she was reacting to people already pointing fingers at her.

I don't like her... But I at least expected her to make a point of the fact that a mom and dad lost their 9 year old little girl. She brings up her kids for every pointless reason, she could have talked about the feeling she would have, having a daughter about that age. No it was just about her her her and don't blame her and blame the liberals because it seems that guy was a liberal anyway.
