OMG--I don't even know if I can find the words to express how this video hit me. You, JT, are a brilliant video maker--that's a known fact. But THIS video just slayed me--I am speechless (but will babble on anyway). This is so incredibly beautiful, sensitive, artistic--it strikes a chord deep inside.

@MoodyJill Good Evening Jill. Thank you so so much. I was trying to regenerate the feel of my previous "Dantes Prayer" video with the themes that The Fountain invoked in the part where the good looking guy played by Hugh Jackman is doing Tai Chi or something similar against a sea of stars. I had watched the technique that IMAX had used to create a 3D model and thought I could give that impression in 2D space using greyscale, colour and star layers. Amazing what MediaMaker can do with patience.

@MoodyJill Thanks Jill. You're talking about the video at theelvishterpsichore.blogspot.­com . I made that one about one year ago, and simply had to make it. I've known the tune for a long time - it is amazing, like The Great Gig in the Sky. When I saw The Fountain, it was obvious the music and imagery were made for each other.
