Whether it is or not, it's pretty pathetic that someone calling themselves a "Baptist" is ignorant of what the the incarnation is all about. Obviously, he was not a SAVED Baptist, just a small-b just-another-religion-baptist. Real Baptists have no doubt whatsoever that Jesus is (not was) God manifest in the flesh!

You heard wrong. Paul Washer's theology is Reformed, which is about as far as you can get from salvation by works. And I've never heard him teach 'saving works' either.

On Billy Graham: Sadly, he told Robert Schuller in an interview with him that he believes that there are people of 'other faiths' who do not know Jesus that *are* saved. My Bible doesn't say that. Pray for him.

And locking women in closets? Really? Do you believe every story you hear?

@shanedungey I'm assuming you're referring to Matthew 7:21-23. You may come to a different conclusion after reading verse 21 in light of verse 22. These people were not short of works. That was not the issue here. Since Jesus specifically included their statements about their works, one is left to wonder what He's really referring to here? BTW, see John 6:40 for what the "will of the father" is. Im all for holiness and striving to do good, but there's food for thought for you.

I have never been to PW's church, but I have heard he preaches saving "works",denounces Billy Graham as a heretic,had a woman bark at the moon+lock herself in her closet for a ridiculously long time so she could "find" the Lord. Now IF-that's true, I don't care how much he says he knows Scripture, he is a false preacher.But you are not lost 'cause of him!! You must find an honest church where ChristCrucified and Christ...
