Yes it would cause a massive contraction only because this so called higher standard of living is an illusion. Without sound money, a gold standard, and the Feds ability to print money & monetize debt can a runaway economy form. This kind of economic fallacy would have never happend in a true free-market system. When govt's artificially expand the money supply there will be consequences...which has been happening over the last century. This is a phony econmy caused by a failed monetary policy!

It does not become a major party but it does open the door for other third parties. I believe that they'll be included in the presidential debates and stuff. not sure tho

he's not running in 2016, the best thing to do now is vote gary johnson, if he gets 5% of the popular vote the libertarian party becomes a major party (i think)
