I have read most of Dostoevsky's books. I have read Eugene Onegin by Pushkin. Great stuff. It should not be forgotten that Stalin killed 7 million Ukrainians in the winter of '33 by starving them to death. This is why I go to Kyiv instead of Moscow or Saint Petersburg. I have been to Ukraine three times. I doubt I will ever go into Russia even though I like many of their great writers.

The version in English sounds like Frank Sinatra.Very nice,but I prefer the russian version.

Beautiful video , I visited Russia last year as a tourist , and it was definately a interesting education for myself. Growing up in the US I learned Russia was evil and Lucifer incarnated , now I know it was just BS propaganda.

@cortezawwris I must go to Saint Petersburg to see my hero's grave, Dostoevsky. I am planning a trip during the summer solstice to also see the White Nights. When I have time, I study my Russian. For me, Stalin is not vilified enough. It is similar to some people here in the south of USA who long for the return of the Confederacy and slavery. They don't see that this was evil part of USA's past. They fly the Confederate flag. It is small fraction, but they are there. Dosvindanya.
