Late-1980s pop artist Henry Lee Summer has pleaded not guilty in Indianapolis to a felony count of methamphetamine possession and other charges.
Summer, whose real name is Henry Swartz, did not talk with reporters as he walked from a Marion County court hearing Tuesday.
Summer was arrested May 6 after police say he threw drugs from his car during a traffic stop. Officers who tried to stop him for not using a turn signal say they needed pepper spray to subdue the singer.
