  • Just got one. This synth kicks serious ass! Thanks for showing me how to do this! The Korg MS2000 & Radius does the motion sequence easy but this feature was hard & not listed in the manual...you are AWESOME & KIND for showing us this secret option! YOU ROCK!!!!

  • It's a pleasure to see you so glad about this hidden function .... I always enjoy this synth.

  • that's pretty trippy...how do you get it to do that?

  • That's quite easy to achieve but it doesn't seem to be documented in a rather poor user manual ...

e.g. : go to H6 (Wave Seq preset), push the LATCH button then press a key or more on the keyboard .... then go to edit and jump to ModSeqA page; from there you should be able to see the leds running around the big selector knob ... While there move the tempo knob and any "sequence" related parameter to get some funny lightshow effects ! Have fun .... and don't forget to listen to the sounds ;)

  • Hey, what a cool feature! I have an R3 for almost a month now and I just saw your video and I tired it! Real fun! Thanks a lot! :)

  • you dont need a computer for making patches. just to download them. You CAN use a computer to edit patches but its only optional.

  • i want this synth!!

  • microkorg has the MS2000 synth engine, and the R3 has the new Radias Engine. I had a MS2000r and I liked it, but I didn't like how I had to overwrite the presets when saving patches. You still have to do this for the R3 unless you hook it up to the computer. I'm getting an R3 Thursday and I hope I can live with having to use the computer for making patches. ;) We'll See.

  • thats pretty cool but i seem to be a bigger fan of the microkorg for some reason. probably just because of my style of music

  • thanks...I can't wait to get mine(and not just for the lights either!)...sounds like you can get some excellent ambient sounds out of it!
