  • When the Freebirds were good, they were good. When they were bad, they were the best!

  • @jbird11368 Amen to that!

  • Promos like this, seem to be a lost art these days.

  • Michael Hayes brought a different kind of charisma to pro wrestling. He knew how to engage the crowd.

  • freebirds were great cause each member bought something different to the table.imo they were the greatest heel group of all time.

  • Roberts may have been a good wrestler when he was younger but with the birds he was the group goof.

  • @mrbluto3 while both points are true, the one with the most scientific skills, was Buddy Jack Roberts

  • @mrbluto3 Roberts I think was the one people loved to see get beat up. Kind of like Tully Blanchard was in the Four Horsemen.

  • Terry Gordy was by far the best wrestler of the three. Hayes was the best talker.

  • I never did understand the reason for having Roberts in that group. Hayes was the mouth, Gordy was the wrestling talent.

  • Now, that, is a fucking promo. PS Hayes knocks it outta the fuckin' park....

  • Awesome. Old school wrestling.

  • The Freebirds, especially Michael Hayes, set the prototype of many of today's wrestlers. Coming out to music, microphone skills, and in Hayes' case, sex appeal. I am a man, but I think that Michael Hayes made looks, appearance, and sex appeal a must for today's wrestlers and blazed the trail for men like Shawn Michaels, John Cena, The Rock and Roll Express, and many others.
