"There's no question, I've never had a bigger hit." —Alex Rodriguez
This video was taken on Nov. 1, 2009, from Sec. 142 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia during Game 4 of the 2009 World Series. Rodriguez's two-out double in the ninth inning off of Brad Lidge scored Johnny Damon and broke a 4-4 tie. The Yanks would go on to win the game, 7-4, and take a commanding 3-games-to-1 lead in the Series.

  • yea the yankees took over Citizens Bank Park

  • This was the pivotal moment of the series...well, that and Damon's steal of both second and third.

So much for A-Rod having the choke artist rep in the postseason. Good for him. Great for the Yankees.

    GO YANKEES!

  • @guardianshaven It was so huge. Putting Damon on 3rd didn't allow Lidge to throw his slider. With the runner on 3rd base he couldn't throw it in case of the risk of a wild pitch. he threw a fast ball and POP!

  • I still can't believe my eyes when I watch this moment in the series.

  • damn I wish i was there. just to shut them arrogant ass phillie fans up

  • is this the day my eagles beat the giants and my yankees beat the phillies lol

  • Yankees all the way

  • hahahaha im gonna guess that hes a yankees fan in disguise :D

  • HAHAHAHA Is that a Phillies fan in a red jacket to the left cheering?!
