  • Key to the game: Home field officials.

Though the Vikings did their fair share of fumbling, the zebras won this one. I thought the leg hit on Favre was the textbook reason for the Brady Rule.

The pass interference on a uncatchable ball was gross.

The flying 4th and 1 attempt clearly shows the ball coming loose.

And I challenge anyone to discern at what point in the last NO catch the receiver had control. It even bounced out of his hands when he fell and they booth reviewed it!

    Fix was in

  • WOW! This is football people. My father almost died in Hurricane Katrina. Seriously, this is football....Just football...Not life and death. I guess it's ok if everyone in Haiti dies just as long as your team goes to the Superbowl.

  • @Bob2000system - Yup the vikings were lucky to even get into the playoffs even though they went 12-4. The vikings sure never had a chance against the saints even though they outgained the saints by a huge margin in total offense. If it wasn't for the turnovers, the vikes would have won. but ill give credit to the saints, they deserved to win by creating those turnovers. But this guy is an idiot and makes saints fans look bad if he thinks the vikings never had any chance of winning. lmao...

  • With the Saints having such a great team there could only be one outcome. The Saints had the largest point differential in the NFC (Packers #2) and they had the 2nd highest turnover ratio (Packers #1).

That Saints great defense played very well forcing all those turnovers. The vikings had nothing, were lucky to even get in the playoffs, and never stood a chance.

The Saints won the George Halas Trophy + then the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

The vikings have no trophies in 50 years of failure.

  • @shane802

Yeah, true. If the NFL really wanted to "fix" it, they would have let the Saints beat the Bears in '06, the first season after Katrina.

  • @CiPhEr505

    Haters gonna hate.

There's no such thing as "home field" officials, especially in the playoffs. The officials didn't throw the ball to Tracy Porter, and they didn't kick that 42 yard field goal. I love Brett, but everybody knows he's the king of INTs. He got his own Brady rule thanks to this.

  • @CiPhEr505 Would you quit complaining........I am so tired of the purple people whining and crying about this game. YOU LOST.........LET IT GO AND GET OVER IT!

  • It seems as if the NFL wanted a "fix", then a Favre vs. Manning Superbowl would have been it. Regardless of Katrina, I am glad for the Saints b/c of their FOOTBALL history.

  • Vikings lost because they couldn't hold the ball, couldn't throw the ball, couldn't catch the ball when they needed. I also see that their fans are whining babies with filty mouths. You people are downright mean. It's football-- get over it.

  • Wow with that comment, I see what kind of people live in Minnesota. With that attitude, you all deserved the loss!! Maybe the Saints will meet the Vikes again next season. See ya'll NEXT YEAR! WHO DAT FAT!
