I could build a PC with the following specs for less than both of the 17inch variants of these computers: Intel Core i7 2600k H50 CPU Liquid Cooling Nvidea GTX 580 3 GB Asus P8z68 Motherboard 12GB Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz Memory 1000 WATT 80 Plus gold certified PSU 2TB 7200RPM HDD CoolerMaster HAF 932 Full Tower Case Regular 24x CD Drive. If you think that the Alienware is better than this build. You are erm, stupid.

@NGUpremier That is true. But you're comparing Apples to Oranges. You can't compare desktop prices to laptop prices because you will always pay a premium for portability. You can't bring your custom built PC along for a long car ride or plane flight and expect to game!

alienwear has more power than MacBook pro apple is only good looks if you want to play games get alienwear Mac are for business and you get 3d with alienwear with Mac you keep having to buy other stuff as alienwear gives you everything when you buy it

alienware is retarded. if u can pay that much get a macbook pro. if u need to game why the fuck would u buy alienware.... i can get better specs for half the price.
