In a role playing game where I step into Alistair's shoes to play him, we enter a world where time, space, and lore have no meaning. Bethany, Carver, and Marian Hawke fled Lothering with the Grey Wardens.

I don't necessarily think Bethany and Alistair are an ideal romantic match and of course it isn't possible in real game lore. However, the way this particular Alistair has come out due to the way the Warden treats him and his environment, and this particular Bethany were a perfect match for each other. This video was made for them.
