the phrasing on this performance of the song is interesting. i love to see artists like damien perform the same song over the years again and again just to see how great songs like this evolve.
he has definitely made this one better with age. actually, this performance is the saddest one i've seen him do.

This was my first Damien Jurado gig and I was determined to see him after researching his songs on hype machine before going. I went by myself, leaving my friends chilling out or exploring barcelona and kind of glad i did.
I cried my eyes out.
Seen him 3 times in this last year and he's been fantastic every time...
