Our son Matthew had heart surgery at Childrens Hospital LA in December 2005. Although our son did not make it, we are thankful for the care Childrens Hospital LA provided and thankful for those who donated blood, which gave our son a chance to live.

Thank you for your comments. The message I am trying to get across is that eventhough love ones are no longer with us, their spirit and inspiration is still there to help us, and to use us to help others.

So sorry for you loss. Losing someone you love is always hard but it seems espeically difficult when it your child. But expericence has shown me that good can come out of even the darkest of trials. Out of your pain, you are helping so that others will not have to good through the same thing. May God bless you.
