Oh man. I received some money for an early birthday present and combining it with basically all my savings account, I bought myself a Nikon d5000 dslr camera! It's amazing and I have never been more in love with a piece of electronic equipment of any sort. I also managed to [probably] lose my other camera [for good] which sucks majormajormajormajorly. I'm super angry about it but I'm hoping it'll just turn up randomly at some point in my room or something. But anyway, I took some videos with the d5000 over the past two days and I am baffled by how amazing the quality is. For many reasons, including how crystal clear the images are, I feel like I didn't make this video. No, I don't have amnesia or anything but the editing just doesn't feel like my own. It looks awkward to me but I think it's starting to grow on me.. (:

I was totally uninspired for about a week and when I heard this song it sort of [a big sort of] clicked. It's kind of depressing to me but I absolutely love it. It's "Let me out" by Ben's Brother. I love the emotionality and general 'feel' of this song. I hope you do too!
