@nonnatural Not really. This game personified the video game cruelty potential, then punishes you for exacting genocide by pitting you against four or five of the best pilots in the game. What really drives it home is that on hard mode, one of the pilots is your operator.
Horrible deeds have horrible consequences.

This is where salines come in handy.

Salvation through death. An old concept, yet still believed by many. Old King really personified that to me. The Destruction arc final battle though, that was straight bull =/

Used 2 back rail guns, one kojima rifle, and one blade on this mission. Destroyed all the Nexts and saved Old King from dying.
