**SPOILERS**
Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal Director's Cut was set during the downfall of the Tokugawa shogunate and telling of Kenshin's childhood and teenhood. Only a few characters from the TV series appear in this OVA, namely Kenshin, Kenshin's master, Hiko Seijuro, and Saitō Hajime, as well as a cameo by Makoto Shishio in silhouette at the end. The OVA mainly depicts the life of Kenshin as Battosai and his time with his first wife, Tomoe. Kenshin is ten years old at the beginning and eighteen years-old at the end of the OVA.

hope this series is remade one did with all the ova's and movie as in his past flash backs all mixed in with the actual series, aswell as hopefully making it alot more emotional seen as kaoru and his other friends didnt really know nothing about kenshin and that buggs me

this anime is nice however not many know that this is based on a real person

his name was hitokiri Gensai he was one of the 7 butchers and it was said that he

looked like a girl or a young boy at a distance and was said that he was able to draw a sword with lightning speed he first started studying the five family style from china reason i say that style is because its the only style that was spread to most of the world and was taught openly to the public from other nations
