If Natives object (which they did), then no matter what the white kids on the teams at Carp High think, it IS disrespectful. Come on people, this is high school, and the Native groups offered to do the removal. Leave the school boards decision alone. After all, wouldn't you object to a school whos mascot was the crackers? This is an issue of teaching children right from wrong. Who will stand up and be the adults?

Racists never get it!Lets B the Italians w/ a big greasy guy (who isn't t italian) run around w/ a pizza & spaghetti & yell "forget about it."Is this okay?How about the black skins w/a black man w/ a watermelon & fried chicken?The native images & "traditions" U made up r based on sterotypes of us .Almost none have feathered headresses, we r still alive & use computers, we r not savages w/spears & arrows. How racist u think u r honoring us. I'm an ofended native & u can stick yr idea of honor!
