Well from what I heard is that they had to cover Freddy's face up in the trailer because his face is too disturbing and gruesome to show. If u look closer there is like a BRIGHT green light or something. There was something similar to Halloween remake trailer cause it was hiding I think it was MM face cause it was gruesome to show in the trailer.

I heard Fred's make up in the final product will be more gruesome, terrfyling, oozy/slimy with u can see through to the bone etc. just really gruesome

If you've seen the trailer for the Box...it is a new thing there doin (Kinda new) of CGIing the make up onto the character that's what the green light is

Now Horror F/X people are the next to be killed of thanx to the laziness of CGI and Re-Make B@llshit..Thanx for the comment

But when you know it's fake it takes the shock out of it...But when it's as obvious as CGI looks it's down right terrible

thanks for answering. I didn't know how to describe or anything. I just notice this bright green light around Freddy's face just like it was with Michael Myers in the remake trailer.

I completely agree with you. CGI needs to stay in the action, fantasy stuff. Practical effects needs to be 100% not 1 & CGI and 99% PE.

AHHH the great Tom Savini. I actually would love to see him do some work on A Nightmare On Elm St film.

CGI does need to stay AWAY from horror. CGI is for action and fantasy films not Horror. We need 100% F/X.

Just want to command u for what you do every week. Sticking it to every studios/production company who can't come up with an original idea and have to cast in on the success of the classics.

But I got to ask u why do they have to do a remake WHY NOT A SEQUEL to ANOES, F13 or Halloween

Thanx for the kind words it is appreciated ...That's what I keep askin...Just do a sequel and try to fix up where the sequels have gone wrong..for example I wrote a mid-quel for Friday the 13th using the time between JGTH and Jason X..But I got what Hollywood doesn't...TALENT hahahaha In a perfect world REAL Horror fans such as ALL OF US would be the final judges in Horror!

I loved the movie because they went out of there way to make this freddy different in the trailer. the make up ..everything in the trailer but the remake parts. and if people are dumb enough to try to expect the same movie .... I MEAN is it a surprise they wont like it? it is what it is. that's what I got from it. its a platinum dunes remake . that's really all I ever saw it for. so hell yea some parts suck but I liked it anyway.

I'm just havin one of those days where you click "post comment" right before you have another thing to say... anyway, you can tell that Freddy's makeup isn't what it looks like on that final shot of the trailer because look at the final shot of the trailer, then look at this brightened up image of a screenshot of the trailer

Yeah, as some people stated, that isn't Freddy's final look. They CGI'd his face for the trailer ONLY. Just like in the Zombieween trailer where there was a green aura around Michael's hand. They CGI'd out the blood. Fuller stated many times that Freddy's makeup is 98% practical makeup. I've chatted with Fuller many times, and he said they were still fucking around with Freddy's voice, and they JUST perfected the voice.

oh and I almost forgot... did you see Clive Barker is remaking his Hellraiser. WTF is he doing. Now the original creators are going to get into the remake craze. His Hellraiser was perfect the way it is, why in the hell are they going to remake this film. Guarantee this Hellraiser remake will be CW'd out. Urg

Just stop with these remakes even though i did think TCM, Halloween, Dawn of the Dead remakes were pretty good but we NEED original horror NOW.

I agree! but Why not continue after Part 7. People hate JGTH, Jason takes Manhattan, JasonX so much. Forget Part 8-10. or Take Place after Part 5 and leave Jason dead.

Same with ANOES, people hate Part 6 so much, pick up where Part 5 ended or forget Part 4-6... and keep Freddy scary like he was in Part 3.

Sequels are not bad... if these studios want to "modernize" these classics for today's brainless audience then just do a sequel not a remake.

Sequel is better then a damn lousy remake.
