after the shot at 2:28, you'd notice that he did the next shot stroking with his left arm. that's how confident he is with his shots.

@TheStrokeofGenious Oh, no doubt. My comment wasn't meant to suggest he isn't a great player. What I was saying is he has all the knowledge and skill, as well as many other world class players. What separates him from the pack is his own personal confidence in his skill. There's players out there that know as much about the game as Reyes does. The difference is they don't have the self belief he has and would never try the things he does in competition. His confidence gives him the edge.

@bandit7498 He pulls off shots that maybe %1 of players in the world can execute on the first try. Simply because he 'tries' them where others won't isn't what makes it amazing. The fact that he can DO some of the stuff he does still amazes me. The reason Reyes can pull off amazing shots is because he's amazing and there are only a handful of people who can pull off the some of the shots he does.

@itiller69 There is indeed an element of luck in making shots like this. The difference and what make Reyes so special is he is a master at calculating the risks of trying a shot like this in major competition and pulling it off. We all know the shots, like the last one, the 2 ball carom shot. But the difference is how many top players have the balls to take those risks in major competition. Reyes pulls off shots like this a lot because he tries them when others won't.

@itiller69 i know right.. he already know what angles..he knows he can make it coz he believes in his skill..even an easy shot players sometimes missed.. just liek in 3:11...
