Tomato late blight caused by the fungus-like pathogen Phytophthora infestans has been confirmed in 13 Wisconsin counties as of August 28, 2009. Dr. Amanda Gevens, Extension Potato and Vegetable Plant Pathologist, UW-Madison Department of Plant Pathology, visits a tomato field to give a visual report on the disease, its symptoms and its management.
