She's probably singing cuz they couldn't find a guy with a range that can go as high as Plant. Who cares if a girl or a guy is singing the lyrics, it's just a cover version, it's not like they wrote the song.

Zep HAS 1 guitar player. But to truly play all guitar (bass ex.) parts of some songs live, ya just might wanna have some players on the bench for the extra innings.

Heart has done some AMAZING covers of Zep, including the Lemon Song, and last time I checked neither Ann or Nancy Wilson have lemons lol :)

This is a very excellent cover! The guitar sounds so close to Page's Les Paul settings it's crazy. And the singer is very emotional and great! (Especially for a girl :P)
My only complaint is that yet again, the bassist isn't given any respect. He's doing an awesome bass line, but you've got the cam focused on the guitarist when he's only playing occasionally! Give respect to those bassists, especially to the really good ones!

Thanks for the compliments! But, as for the cam work- the father of the guitarist was the one filming. Since it was his son's 1st real performance, who can blame him? He did zoom in on the bassist, though.

You know with all the schools out there to train your kid on how to play pop songs what is the friggen big deal? I was playing this stuff note for note at 13 with no psorgm or music training back in '76 by just by listening to the record over and over. My mom would leave the house so that me and my friends could jam. Show me a "trained" 13 yr old that can play steve howe, joe pass or chet atkins and I'll be impressed. Shoot how about VH eruption!
