Why Egypt?

This was done for an Archaeology and Media project at UC Berkeley. For the project we were asked to look critically at an accepted "fact". My partner on the project and I decided to look at why mummified human remains are almost strictly associated with Ancient Egypt when it was a practice that can be found in a number of other regions and time periods, including in South Coastal Peru.

To create the project, we used clips from movies and television shows with other images shared by users from flickr. Music was found through archive.org. For all attributions, see the end of the movie. Thanks to all those creative commons flickr users for sharing their work.
