Adam Foote Tribute

Adam Foote tribute. Foote announced his retirement on April 8th, 2011, after spending 19 seasons in the NHL, 17 of them with the Colorado Avalanche. This is the video tribute the Avalanche played at his retirement press conference. It features clips from his junior league days as well as highlight from his NHL career with the Quebec Nordiques and the Colorado Avalanche. Clips from the 2002 Team Canada Gold Medal Team are also included.

How I miss seeing Footer in the young days. Such a strong and powerful defenseman. He had a great career. Time to pass the C onto Hejduk.

Seems with all the hockey pools these days all most fans do is look at stats instead of actually watching players play. Foote is one of the most underrated players of alltime. What a fucking defenseman he was!

I'll never forget 2002 game 7 against the kings .......Foote right out of the penalty box ... unassisted top-shelf .... my first playoff game !!!!! Footer made the final 4-0 !!!!!!!!!
