    yes it is called jonbiri(jon=moon) in assamese since it looks like a half moon. it is a traditional assamese jewellery.

  • With the help of 'SATRIYA' dance of Assam we may add many new test to indian performing art.

  • My fiancé is making me a mangalasutra that looks very much like the necklace on the woman in the first clip! I notice that the dancers' necklaces are very similar. Is there a special term for this type of necklace? I would like to learn more about it.
