@mig399 yup! cool beans, well if I happen to come across it I will post the videos. But it happened so FAST it doesn't seem likely that anyone would have recorded it, unless they had a dash cam camera and were in the right spot at the right time :D dash cam meteors FTW

I saw a number of fireballs in central Texas in 2002-2003 the most impressive one I saw while at Inks Lake. We were sitting on a granite shoreline watching the sky when all of a sudden every thing lit up like an arc lamp I turned around expecting to find something spotlighting us even though the source was lighting up everything and saw a brilliant fireball. My heart sank as the possibility that this could be the end hit me but fortunately the fireball zipped toward the horizon and fizzled out.

could have been some snow reflecting the light from the headlights.

Or it could be a fireball.

I saw two small fast meteors over London uk tonight when I was popped outside for a quick smoke. Wasn't sure if I was seeing things but now thinking about it they could have been meteors hmmm . keep your eyes on the sky.
