  • hi, ask ko lang para saan yung headphones suot niyo? would you recommend to wear headphones para mas marinig yung mga bass parts sa pagsisifra ? thanks!

  • @mayoch5

hi Mayoch5. The reason for the headphones is that I need to listen to the playback without having it bleed into the mic.

as for using it to transcribe music, sure, it can help. as long as you can hear the music better, why not =)

  • Nice chops! I was looking into Garritan Jazz and Big Band, now I'm sold.

    Thanks heaps,

    Another fan from Australia.

  • @Shunarjuna

Hi! :D Garritan Jazz VST has pretty convincing brush sounds as well as the sampled Steinway piano. I do recommend it =)

What part of Australia are you from? I studied at the Con (Univ. of Sydney). took up the Jazz Group One class for a couple of months.

  • Hey I was looking into buying Garritan Jazz and Big Band three, can you tell me, is it worth it and easy to use? The price seems too good to be true

  • @RobotCityy Yup, it's really worth it =) if you're familiar with using softsynths, you'll pretty much know how to work with Kontak player (comes with the Garritan DVD). =)

  • Fine work! I too am now sold.

  • @o9723064 thanks sir for the info. more power!

  • @o9723064 No way! I'm from Sydney and I did a Bachelor of Music Studies at the Con. I graduated in 2008. The B.Mus Studies was a classical course but I did 4 semesters of Jazz piano there and have recently began getting more into Jazz and much of the music I have been composing is taking on a bit of a Jazz flavour.
