Jaden Smith revamps Karate Kid with Jackie Chan playing Mr. Miyagi

Sony Pictures released the first teaser trailer for the up coming remake of The Karate Kid.
Jaden Smith 11 year old son of actors Will and Jada Pinket Smith has his first starring role. Jaden Smith replaces original star Ralph Machio in the title role, and Jackie Chan plays his karate mentor.
This revamped version of the 1984 original finds a single mother moving to China with her young son. Starting a new life in a strange country finds the boy embracing karate taught by a master self defense instructor.
Look for The Karate Kid in theaters June 2010.
