I have to ask, with such a restricted range in the state, isn't the habitat protected? If so, how did you get access to it?

it looks alot like my tiger salamander that i found in kentucky...well...they are a type of mole salamander...

awesome bro, are they closely related to the small mouth salamander? I think they look alike a bit... I got tons of small mouths around here, btw i live in Indiana to! Up north

@iFeedMyDingoBiscuts They sure are. Smallmouths are cool sals. I find them on the roads during warm (45 degrees or more), rainy nights from Dec. to March.
