no man i just was worried that i might be alienated or everyone would be like "-_- oh look, it's that foreigner" and would treat me different or something. but it's not like that at all. but i dont get where you're getting the idea that i thought "all koreans" would be "scared" of me or "all women" would like me or are supposed to be culturally shocked. i never said any of that in the vid and what are talking about with this "typical black racism" at what point did i show racism?

I've been stationed here for about 2 weeks now...And I find Koreans to be some of the coldest people I've ever met. Except for when you have lots of money that they can scam you out of... I'll give it more time though.

Jay.....shut up. You misunderstood. MOST people would be wary going to a foreign country not knowing how they will be treated...when you are DIFFERENT. You can not deny that some people are not looked upon very highly because they are portrayed a certain way. This might influence SOME people. I've heard nothing but GOOD things about Korea's treatment of foreigners.

Thanks for posting. It gives an insight of how my experience might be.

Others are asking these same questions. Just like any culture that comes to America. they too are unsure how they will be received. Just be yourself and people will like you just like they did in your hometown. Yay! I have found some Koreans nice and hospitable. My Korean friends like it because they can act "American style" with me and do and say things they usually wouldn't. lol
