@MJFANSINCE1989 Anakin still wanted power, still wanted to make the Universe in his image and rule it. He told this to Padme shortly before choking her. If he turned to the Light Side at the last second he'd have no chance. Palpatine only needs to use Lightning on him for 2-5 minutes and if he's not dead, he's near dead. Anakin never displayed the ability to repel lightning and he was almost all machine. He would've been killed.

@MgoMSx - yeah i see ur point. He could have returned to yoda. I mean yoda didn't treat him bad.or he could have made up with obi won. when padme tries to make anakin turn back because she knows theres good in him but then realises she cant help him and decides to walk away. anakin thinks that obi won made padme move away so quickly. which i found silly. anakin and obi won were so close. anakin should've known obi won would never betray him.
