Did you have to clamp the 1st piece of plywood to the inner fiberglass shell for proper adhesion? Are clamps necessary for the initial transom plywood piece?

Thats really awesome.I really appriciate this as I have this project ahead on an older 61 Oceanic Volvo Penta 18ft.I was scared till I seen this.
