Well, this was certainly out of the blue. When I became aware of this game's existance and after I played it for a bit over a couple of days, I had to put everything on hold and try to record this game because I believe that this game is really that good and worth showing off.
Today, I play a flash game called Rokko Chan which is a yet another Mega Man clone made by Indie game developer, King, that really doesn't even hide that fact. Even the plot is basically the same. Since the game is in Japanese, I can't follow all of the so-called "plot" and/or any extra character names, but this is what I can basically understand: A scientist made a robot girl (yes, our hero is a female bot, btw) named Rokko Chan for whatever purposes he has for the good of society. However, a guy named Dr. Mad (our Wily rip-off) has sent out six robots to terrorize the world. When Rokko Chan saw the chaos the mad doctor was causing, she couldn't sit by and idly watch. Thus, with buster in tow, she sets off to defeat the robots and Dr. Mad to put an end to his evil schemes.
So, yeah. Like I said, this is a blatant Mega Man clone made in an 8-bit style mostly reminiscent to something of a Mega Man 9 and 10. Heck, it even has achievements and online rankings. However, despite being yet another clone game, this game is completely excellent in every way. Well, almost in every way. Using keyboard controls is hellish with its setup. Joy2key is highly recommended if you want the best control scheme. Other than that, the controls itself are pretty good as movement is decently solid. It even has a dash mechanic (a la Mega Man X) that allows you to blow through stages at a quick pace. Some may have issue that Rokko Chan doesn't have a charge shot, but that's more of a personal preference if anything.
This game also has very good level design with several unique gameplay gimmicks (as far as a Mega Man game goes, anyway). The some of the most notable are the vine swinging and the rotating stage segments; both of which you will see as this playthrough progresses. However, that doesn't mean that you won't see some influence from other Mega Man games in some other stage designs. As for the music, it is pure 8-bit, chiptune goodness. While I'll guarantee that you will have at least one favorite theme in this game, the whole soundtrack is skillfully crafted to make your gaming experience very pleasurable.
Probably my only gripe about this game is it feels a bit short. However, that's basically a nit-pick as Mega Man games, in general, are relatively short (given a few exceptions). There are also no gripes about difficulty as the game provides the right amount of toughness to make the game balanced. Of course, there is the unlockable "Owata Mode" where anything is a one-hit kill as you only have 1 HP for the enitre game, but I won't touch that.
Overall, Rokku Chan (which is cute in-joke of how to pronounce the Japanese "Rockman," btw), is a truly well-made fan flash game that really captures the essence of Mega Man games in pretty much every aspect. In a year where the Mega Man franchise has seen hard times, this game will most definitely pick up your spirits. Pick it up, play it, hug it, love it, call it "George" if you have to. I really recommend this game to the highest degree... unless you're the type of person who has reservations about playing as a little girl.
This game will be played in its entirety with no stops. There will be annotations throughout the video, so if you don't like having them, please turn them off. Also, keep in mind that the frame rate will not be perfect at times. The recording device that I used dropped some frames at certain points of the playthrough, so bare with me on this, especially since this is my first attempt at recording a flash game. I believe that is all I need to point out. So without further ado, please enjoy the video.

Okay, why are there Ride Armors?

@agwebkinz11 Personally, I say why not Ride Armors? I mean this game takes a little bit from the "X" series with the dash alone despite being mostly "Classic-oriented." Besides, with this game being a homage to Megaman as a whole, surely allowing Ride Armors, which has a small place in the franchise, could slide, generally speaking, of course.

There was an option to change the language to English at the beginning you know.

@ZioIsPwnzor You're right, I do know, but not before doing this playthrough as I was unaware of those changes then. It was not too soon after that I found that out; on the other hand, since when did people play classic-styled Megaman-esque games for plot anyway (barring for some exceptions).
