I decided to show some Japanese gameplay of Mario Kart 64 which is quite different from the USA one. Kids say the title of the game instead of Mario. The names of the courses and cups are changed (Moo Moo Farm/Moh Moh Farm, Mushroom Cup/Kinoko Cup, etc.) An announcer says the things that you select like Grand Prix and "Select Your Character". Wario, Princess Toadstool/Peach, Toad/Kinopio, and Luigi's voices are changed from the USA version of the game. Me Playing.

  • Cool. The voices sound like the voices from Mario Kart Super Circuit.

  • aahh! so that's why this version was released in Dec. 1996 and the American version was released in Feb. 1997.

they had re-do all the recording.
